POK Kurth
from the local police station in Woerth held a lecture about the rights and the
law concerning young people in Germany to the students of the migration class.
Thereby he
also informed the pupils about what types of bullying might occur, how the kids
could be beware of that and what to do against it. The policeman also explained
the consequences an offender might have to fear when being sentenced for
bullying in Germany.
The kids were impressed by the presentation as many of them did not know, what it really means to offend a classmate via cyber mobbing in a class chat for example. Furthermore the kids were surprised that the German law would be so strict about these offences. The policeman taught the kids that the most important feature among people every day is habing RESPECT.
